The Merlin Calendar provides a great way to show scheduled events. It can be used on a community web site to keep the community informed, or on a business web site to show product release dates, trainings, etc.
Multiple calendars (with different titles, links, and content) can be set up.

| The Public Calendar |
Link one or more Merlin Calendars to your website.
Your site visitors will see:
- A standard calendar with current month displayed.
- Entered events bulleted in each day. Click for details.
- Pull-down of months and years to quickly jump to a different
calendar display.
- "Next" and "Prior" buttons to scroll back and forth through months.
- Optionally display months events as a list rather than a
calendar. Shows Date, Day of Week, Start/End Times (optional),
event title, and a link to details.
- Logon button for users to log in and be able to enter events.

| User Management |
The calendar offers several ways in which users can participate.
Options include:
- Full-access calendar -
users can both register on the site and/or view the calendar.
Registered users can enter events.
- Restricted public gallery - users needing to enter events
must be pre-registered by the administrator. No restrictions on
viewing the calendar.
- Private calendar - Only the administrator can add calendar events.
- When a registered user logs on to the calendar, options open
to:
- Add, modify, delete events in an expandable tree structure.
- Event fields include date, start time, end time, brief description, detailed description.
- Optionally upload and attach a document (for users to download).
- Easily add recurring events (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly).

The account administrator has complete control over
all calendar events - through the Merlin backoffice.
- View all calendars and events in an expandable
tree structure.
- Add or delete entire calendars.
- Add events with date, start time, end time, brief description, and
detailed description.
- Optionally attach documents for user download.
- View, add, modify, delete participants - in an expandable tree
structure.
